A Bit About Me
From a very young age, I have been deeply intrigued by the world of health and wellness. I pursued a degree in Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University while playing Division I softball. Over the years, I discovered the profound interconnectedness of the human body, especially the mind and neuroscience. This fascination led me to continue my education, earning a master's degree in Health and Exercise Science with a specialization in the Sensorimotor Neuroimaging Laboratory. I worked closely with individuals facing neurological disorders, striving to improve their quality of life.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder that manifested in neuropathy, pain, fatigue, numbness and tingling, etc. The diagnosis transformed my life, filling my days with appointments, testing, and treatment. Maintaining health is challenging for anyone, but managing it while battling a disorder felt almost impossible—like being in a boxing match with one hand tied behind my back. For a time, I struggled not just to overcome my symptoms but to thrive.
Redefining what "healthy" meant to me, I applied my years of study, learning, and research to develop a comprehensive wellness plan. I dedicated time and effort to discovering effective tactics for exercise, sleep, stress management, nutrition, and even adopting a new mental perspective. This insight, grounded in heavily researched and evidence-based practices, boosted my confidence in battling my disorder and reignited my hope for achieving my goals. Now, I was stepping into the ring with a knockout punch and a new trainer in my corner.
I began working more with individuals battling various disorders, implementing this multidisciplinary approach to wellness, and the results and successes I witnessed were truly inspiring. The hope and empowerment my clients gained were remarkable.
I am grateful to motivate, teach, and coach others to conquer difficulties, enhance their understanding, and improve their health.
I'd be honored to be your trainer in the corner of your personal boxing match and help you dominate your goals.

The Healthy U
Imagine health as a glass of water that needs to be filled to sustain and support your everyday needs.
Often, we separate aspects of well-being into categories like fitness, nutrition, stress, mental health, and medical treatments. This segmented approach can leave your cup only partially filled, missing the comprehensive support you need.
OptimalU Health aims to fill your glass with an integrative approach to wellness. We collaborate to address multiple health pillars, creating personalized goals tailored to your unique needs.

"Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit - the realization that everything we do, think, feel, and believe has an effect on our state of well-being."
-Greg Anderson
